Susana La Porta Drago

Susana La Porta Drago is an architect with over 35 years of professional experience. As a former partner at Pelli Clarke & Partners, she led the design and management of major, large-scale projects across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Susana co-founded La Porta Drago | Zemborain Architects in 2023, where she focuses on mixed-use, multi-family residential, and master planning projects celebrating the relationship between context, landscape, and architecture.

At the Yale School of Architecture, she has taught Architectural Practice and Management since 2021. A frequent international lecturer, she has presented at the Bienal de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires, the Universidad de Belgrano, the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and the Colegio de Arquitectos de Jujuy.

Susana actively serves on the AIA Connecticut Professional Knowledge Community, where she previously served as co-chair. She holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Diploma de Arquitectura from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
