Filipe Magalhães (Porto, Portugal, 1987) is an architect. He graduated with an MArch from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in 2011 and completed his PhD with honours at the same institution in 2025. Since 2015, he has taught as a visiting professor at several European and North American schools, and currently teaches at the Yale School of Architecture. Since 2026, he has served, with fala, as Chief Curator of Architecture at MAC/CCB. Before co-founding fala in 2013, he worked with Harry Gugger in Basel and SANAA in Tokyo. At fala, he has co-authored more than two hundred projects and competition proposals, with nearly seventy works built to date.
