Anas Alkhatib

Anas Alkhatib is a first year Ph.D. student in the History and Theory of Architecture at Yale University. His research examins how the built environment shapes the state of mind, health and ideology. With a particular focus on the mediation between the state and the society in shaping the everyday material objects and meanings. Including the laws, values and the norms that order the co-relation between the formal and the informal. At Yale, Anas aims to expand his work toward questions of agency, gender, law and post-identity.
