Project Description

Donna Haraway’s “Cyborg Manifesto” presents an understanding of new systems and experiences manifesting from interactions of different programs. The connection of human and machine, of wires, muscle, skin, and information, creates new meaning for the body-machine collective where systems are mutually supportive. Private, communal, productive, and institutional spaces work similarly; between their thresholds are networks that collapse into each other through space and a multi-layered circuit of networks, creating connections that construct new experiences. This urbanism of collapsing networks sponsors personal and economic agency through production, filtering into institutional thrusts to subvert the normative conventions of daily life.
