Project Description

Our project intensifies Lynn’s sense of community by exploiting its existing urban vacancies and activating them as an interconnected series of urban rooms. Currently, Lynn does not have the funds and resources for a large-scale and long-term intervention. As a result, our interventions involve using quick, easy, inexpensive, and short-term solutions to activate and articulate a new urban spine. In addition to using color as a tool for surface treatments, we are implementing a catalog of vertical elements in order to further clarify these new territories and make them more accessible to the Lynn citizens.
