Title

Slow Air

Authors
Daniel Glick-Unterman

Course
Newfoundland Food Institute

Project Description

Air is beautiful. In St. John’s, 30-50mph wind blows across our site on the historic industrial harbor. Over the years, modern demands smoothed the harbors edge; it is soon to be reclaimed for public use. Windbreaks are oriented to the prevailing directions. They serve as public infrastructure, restoring access to the water and providing housing for the students below. Dorms structure the windbreaks and collective programs occupy the spaces in-between.
