Project Description
This project investigates a trans-scalar design process that considers the life cycle of building and a potentially synergistic relationship between cities and their bioregions through circular- and bio-economic materials, means, and methods. By siting in the forest and constructing along with its own development, it hosts a building program that serves not only to catalyze a novel kind of processing workshop, design laboratory, a facility for building research, and educational outreach but also a way of thinking on the growing global demand for dense urban settlement.
