Illwerke Zentrum Montafon
Project Description
This model is a larger analysis of the construction and material strategies used in the Illwerke Zentrum Montafon building. The analysis reveals the highly precise interlocking modular system on which the building is based. The model also emphasizes the materials used in the construction of the building, showing the integration of concrete and locally sourced timber materials. This analysis led us to an understanding of the building as a replicable system in which precise components and connections can be utilized to suggest future large-scale methods of prefabrication and assembly.
