Core I Studio Project
Project Description
An exercise in section typologies included a hybridization of both the ‘nest’ and ‘incline’ typologies that helped explore how architecture inherently positions people in relation to each other and frames views between them. This was used as a device to create space that evoked a sense of voyeurism and at the same time obscurity. Hidden and communal spaces contrast against each other in varying levels of privacy and intensity. An unconventional unfolded section that only makes sense when viewed at the corner. And so building a two point perspective relief model was imperative to understanding the architecture and its depth information. This is a Queer Space.
