Project Description

After reading the Poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard, I became interested in the idea of memories existing within “the depths of the unconscious.” For me, these drawings are similar to Bachelard’s ideas of obscured memories in which they capture fragmented recollections of multiple points in time and space. The mediums are Ink, Oil, and Casein.
