Core III Studio Project
Project Description
The incentive behind the project is to foster environmental awareness and community engagement for the existing Fair Haven library community through adaptive reuse. The design is physically and conceptually centered around a greenhouse. I conceptualized the unique relationship between the existing library and the addition as a semi-permeable threshold that stitches together the old with the new. This dynamic bridge generates transitional spaces that highlight and soften the distinction between the two.
