Project Description

If architecture is the physical manifestation of visual enticement, its approach is critical in the conception and composition of the project’s assembly. This approach is a way of seeing the world–a form of sensibility and perception, both a motive and method of distilling architecture into a consistent body of work.

Loose Library attempts to hybridize two contrasting spatial systems: independent and interdependent rooms. The resultant is two expansive interiors, where angles are carefully determined, combining spaces and embedding circulation. Typically, a library exhibits an open plan, yet this library provides varied spatial typologies, both in plan and section.
